چکیده

This paper aims to visualise three financial distress outlooks using computer simulations. The exposure for airport operations in Malaysia between 1991 and 2021 is given by Altman Z”-score modelled the multivariate generalized linear model (MGLM). Seven determinants contributing from literature are examined. determinant series fitted individually with time components autoregressive integrated moving average models forecast values next 10 years. Future short- long-term memory effects following COVID-19 apparent plots. In simulations, MGLM procedure utilised Gaussian, gamma, Cauchy probability distributions associated expectations challenges of doing business as well uncertainties economy. underlying trends realistic, optimistic, pessimistic insinuate that increasing risk expected continue decade.

Pessimistic and Optimistic Induction

Learning methods vary in the optimism or pessimism with which they regard the informativeness of learned knowledge. Pessimism is implicit in hypothesis testing, where we wish to draw cautious conclusions from experimental evidence. However, this paper demonstrates that optimism in the utility of derived rules may be the preferred bias for learning systems themselves. We examine the continuum be...

Mitigating Online Product Rating Biases through the Discovery of Optimistic, Pessimistic, and Realistic Reviewers

The authors of this work present a model that reduces product ratings biases that are a result of varying degrees of customers’ optimism/pessimism. Recently, large-scale customer reviews and numerical product ratings have served as substantial criteria for new customers who make their purchasing decisions through electronic word-of-mouth. However, due to differences among reviewers’ rating crit...

Revisiting optimistic and pessimistic concurrency control

Optimistic concurrency control relies on end-of-transaction validation rather than lock acquisition prior to data accesses. Optimistic concurrency control is popular and various systems employ it based on a conviction that it increases concurrency, performance, and scalability. In contrast, we have concluded that optimistic concurrency control permits more concurrency than pessimistic concurren...
